Free shopping cart that uses email?
I am designing my own website, and I would like a “Shopping Cart” on it, but all of them (Zen, Cube, etc) are too difficult to set up and you always end up having to pay for something (i.e. processing orders). Is there a way to have a shopping cart on your website, but when the customer clicks “submit” it just sends an email of the order to me? Would I have to write a script for it?
Thanks.
Paypal’s cart looks pretty good! Thanks for the answers!

Need help Installing ZEN CART?
I just installed Zen Cart as a one click install from dreamhost. Everything went well, and I have gotten to the finished installin page. But now it says the final step is :
“For security, you will need to reset your configure.php files located in the /admin/includes/ and /includes/ folders back to read-only mode before allowing people to access your store.
”
I have no idea how to do this! I tried the set up instructions and they say:
“Delete the zc_install directory and change the admin/includes/configure.php and the includes/configure.php files to not be writable (by anybody) or world-readable!
(That’s: chmod 440 configure.php from the command line..)”
Which confuse me more! Please help! I am using dreamweaver and am very confident in using files and ftp etc. I have located the files I just have no idea what to do with them.
Thanks!

osCommerce, Zen, or Cube shopping cart?
I don’t want to waste precious time finding out which shopping cart is better and more versatile, so if anyone has good (or bad) experiences with these or other shopping carts, please put them down here.
Which one is best overall? Also, If there’s a free shopping cart that’s good and I don’t know of, please inform me.

Online customer account question?
I have a store and am in the process of setting up either an oscommerce or zen shopping cart. With either of these carts, my customers can register. What I would like to do is set up a rewards program so my customers can earn points for purchases to redeem for free gifts. I can keep track of it the old fashioned way on paper and mail a rewards letter but ideally I would like to do it online. I could enter points as accrued and they can login to see how many points they have. Is this possible with either of theses carts. If not, how would I do this?

Need help in choosing a website builder?
I am looking at all the free ones like oscommerce, zen, cube, creloaded, etc. But they all require alot of work. Isnt there anything out there that is easy to use and has many template choices and many options like related products or google analytics built in? I sell handmade jewelry, I am considering just using paypal cart but I cant decide. I dont /cant spend alot of money but I do need something powerful.
Zen, cube etc doesnt have alot of template options and they both require alot of time. which I dont have.!!
