E-commerce shopping carts and payment gateways?

I am looking for a good shopping cart. I eather pay a small fee and not have to worry about any bugs like zen cart and oscommerce and have support for it. I would eather just pay a one time fee but I am open to anything thats a good alltogether.

Have you heard of Paypal? they have a lot of features and it’s safe and secure to use. Your customers can use paypal to make their purchases from your website. Check it out.

Another option is to use one of the free carts like osCommerce, but then use someone who knows osCommerce inside out to provide bug-fixes etc as you come across them.

That would seem to be the best of both worlds - you get a cart that has lots of people actuvely using it and working on it with an open codebase, and you have the backup of a professional for the times when you need that.
