Can VirtueMart play clips in the catalogue?

Zen Cart
VirtueMart
Since I am selling videos I want there to be an option to play a 30sec,10sec, whatever sec clip of the video. I believe that VirtueMart is tied in with Joomla so this should be possible but I would like confirmation/non confirmation before I go ahead and download it. As well, if you happen to know of a cart that can do this please advise.

I believe virtuemart can do this for you but not straight out of the box may need some tweaking - check out the virtuemart forums for more information.
From a marketing point of view i think that virtuemart/joomla would be your best bet for good search engine optimization results when using it with something like artio
