shilo asked: I want to have a shopping cart added to my website. I have one now but it takes my customers away from my site. I want customers to be able to add a product to their cart and still be ON my site. Does anyone know of free/cheap easy to understand shopping cart software?
Thanks!

Emeka N asked: Something like what storefront.net and www.AspDotNetStorefront.com offers. No free shopping cart softwares because they do not allow custom modifications to the software. Most cost $999 per license but we need multiple stores and $1k per does not sit well with us. Let us know if you know any

ldybugg93 asked: I want to add a shopping cart feature to my website and came across these two free shopping cart downloads (ZenCart and OsCommerce) but was wondering if anybody has tried either of them? Is it difficult to download/manage? Is there a catch? Here are the sites: http://www.zen-cart.com/ and http://oscommerce.com/

MrMichigan asked: I know there are a lot of shopping carts out there. Here is the deal.
1) I already have a web site and a host.
2) I have a paypal account. I am going to use paypal to accept credit cards.
I just need a low cost shopping cart software that has shipping options, taxes, old / new product prices, unlimited products and looks good and not cheap looking.
I do not know html. I use Frontpage 2003 to build my web site. I just need a shopping cart software that will have a nice looking format already setup to add my products.
Note: I am not offering files to download. I am selling Herbailfe products. If you are aware of someone already having a shopping cart setup for these products and willing to hook me up, then please let me know.

Keiya K asked: I have a small restaurant business that makes around 300k a year. I am thinking about accepting credit cards because many customers want to use credit cards but we only accept cash. How much would the startup costs be for getting a credit card system in place? Also, how much roughly are monthly fees and how much are transaction fees (estimates are fine)? Are there any contracts when signing up for credit card processing? In all honesty, would it be best for me to stay cash only or would it be better (again in your opinion) for me to go with a credit card system.
One more thing, we are more of a seasonal business in that we get most of our customers (about 75% of our income) during May-August and in November-January. Other months the business is slow.

JasonXiao asked: Hey Yahooligans,
First off, I’d like to list what I have used already:
WebsiteSource
ANHosting
1and1
HostGator
Some were decent and was a good run for the money but they always seem to have some issues with compatibility with eCommerce carts or have random downtime because they over stuff their servers.
I finally decided, I would either have to go VPS but I’d much rather pay $20 or below for a host, not $50. So as a last hope, I am asking the Yahoo community who have had personal hosting experiences to maybe give me a last glimpse of hope to use a Shared Host that can meet my needs, which aren’t much at all, just be able to function with Zen Cart or let me be able to customize the PHP output mode.
So please make your suggestion and by all means, if you use a VSP now, let me know how you like your company. A VPS seems much more likely to work for my businesses.
If the VPS can also let me resell and create separate control panels, that would be a bonus! Heh.
Warm Regards,
Jason
